Very testing links/heathland course used as a final qualifying course when the Open Championship is held at Royal Troon or Turnberry. The signature holes is the 6th "Cannon Hill" which is a 411 yards, par-4. You should drive to the top of the hill to be left with a second shot to a green guarded by bunkers and the river.
